Little Michael Owen’s return in an England shirt will now surely see the Newcastle striker lead the attack when Steve McClaren’s men play Estonia.

The “B” international, at Burnley’s Turf Moor, was a somewhat low-key return for the player who had not played since the World Cup.

And despite him not getting on the scoresheet we saw enough to convince us that Owen is back.
