[Second Test, Day Four, Headingley: England 570-7dec (Pietersen 226); West Indies 142 & 141 all out - England win by innings and 283 runs]
My cricket team didn’t have a game over the weekend.
It’s a pity because we’d have put up more of a fight than the West Indies who could have a very long summer ahead of them.
Ryan Sidebottom did the damage. His left-arm swing was too good for most of those who faced him and he ended the match with 8-86. Not bad.
West Indies were so bad even Steve Harmison took three wickets.
Only Dwayne “Juliet” Bravo put up any resistence but once he went for 52 it was simply a matter of time.
