ICC President Percy Sonn passes away

It is with great sadness that we report Percy Sonn, the first African president of the International Cricket Council, has died.
He leaves his wife Sandra and three children, a daughter and two sons, plus his mother, six brothers and a sister.
We send our deepest sympathy and best wishes to Mr Sonn’s family and friends.

Ex-India player to Singh for his supper

Former India test cricketer Maninder Singh faces drugs charges after being arrested in Delhi with 1.5 grams of cocaine, according to police.
Mr Singh admitted in a preliminary court hearing he had used cocaine for 15 years.
He was granted bail in exchange for paying £600.

Sonn - fighting for life

Nothing amusing here. Quite the opposite.
News has reached us that ICC president Percy Sonn is critically ill in Cape Town.
It would appear the 57-year-old was to undergo a routine operation but was taken ill shortly before going into hospital.
Our best wishes go to Mr Sonn’s family and friends.
